Personalised support

If you'd like my dedicated time.

Everything else on this website is free, and it stays free. These options exist for people who want one-to-one time with me, and the practical work that goes with it.

I receive no commission from Professor Vogl

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas J. Vogl is a salaried professor and physician at University Hospital Frankfurt. I am not employed by, or affiliated with, Professor Vogl or the University Hospital. I receive no commission, referral fee, treatment discount, free treatment or other benefit in kind from either — and Professor Vogl receives no financial benefit from the services I provide.

Any fee paid to me is solely for my own time, research, experience, administration, patient navigation and practical support.

Most people choose this £300 60-minute call · referral included

Consultation & Referral

A private 60-minute consultation where we look at your circumstances in depth and discuss the much wider landscape of treatments, options and supportive services that may be available, both within and outside the UK. Your referral to Professor Vogl is included — there is nothing further to pay.

  • Your diagnosis, treatment history and current circumstances
  • Treatments and options you may not previously have been aware of
  • TACE, microwave ablation, cryoablation and other treatments available internationally
  • Supportive and body-support services available outside the UK
  • Whether the Germany pathway is something you may wish to explore
  • What to expect before, during and after treatment in Frankfurt
  • How to continue benefiting from your NHS care alongside private treatment in Germany
  • Common pitfalls and everything I have learned navigating this pathway myself
  • All of your individual questions

My intention is that you leave our hour with a much wider understanding of the treatment landscape, greater clarity about the options you may wish to explore, and a clear idea of your next steps.

Then, if you decide you want to explore Frankfurt: I complete Professor Vogl's structured referral document, prepare your covering letter, submit your case directly to him, manage the correspondence with his team, and arrange your appointment date — all included.

£150 By email · no calls

Referral Only

For people who have already decided they want their case put to Professor Vogl, and who do not need a consultation about their wider options.

This is handled entirely by email. There is no call or video consultation. If you want to talk something through, the option above is the one you want.

  • I review your diagnosis, history and scans to check whether you are likely to be a candidate
  • I complete Professor Vogl's structured referral document exactly as he requires
  • You check and confirm everything is correct before it is sent
  • I prepare your covering letter and submit your case directly to him
  • I manage the administrative correspondence with his team
  • I relay his response and next steps to you
  • I arrange and confirm a date and time for your first appointment with him in Frankfurt

Professor Vogl has specifically asked me to use a structured referral document, due to the volume of enquiries, scans and medical information his team receives. Getting it right first time is most of the value here.

Whether you are a suitable candidate is determined by Professor Vogl, not by me. My initial check is practical, not medical — it is about whether your case is worth putting to him, and what he will need to see.

What I am, and what I am not

I am not medically qualified. I do not diagnose cancer, determine treatment suitability, prescribe medication, interpret symptoms as a clinician, or guarantee outcomes. I do not replace an oncologist, a doctor, a radiologist, a psychiatrist or any other appropriately qualified medical professional.

Professor Vogl and other qualified healthcare professionals make all medical decisions. What I provide is lived experience, research, signposting, patient navigation and practical support.

Cancellations and refunds

Refunds are discretionary and require 48 hours' notice.

If you are medically unable to attend, your call can be rescheduled once, free of charge, with 24 hours' notice.

No guarantees.

Booking a consultation with me does not guarantee a referral, does not guarantee that Professor Vogl will recommend treatment, and does not guarantee any outcome. Professor Vogl and his medical team determine suitability for scans, investigations and any particular treatment, based on your individual circumstances.
